Terms and Conditions
With the exception of use on websites and/or use on printed labels, the rental of images/digital files applies to a single publication only.
Plants and Pictures will send the images/digital files to the lessee after receipt of payment for the rented images/digital files.
When used in publications, credit must always be given as follows: Plants and Pictures
Without written permission from Plants and Pictures (Sjaak de Jong and/or Ronald Houtman), rented images/digital files may not be subleased to third parties. In the event of use by third parties resulting from negligence on the part of the lessee, a fee consisting of the standard rental fee per photograph, increased by €400 per photograph, per publication, will be charged.
Without written permission from Plants and Pictures (Sjaak de Jong and/or Ronald Houtman), rented images/digital files may not be published in any other way, whether in print, printed materials, on the internet, CD-ROM, DVD, or in any other printed or non-printed form whatsoever. In the event of unauthorised publication, regardless of the form or resolution of the image/digital file, a fee consisting of the standard rental fee per photograph, increased by €400 per photograph, per publication, will be charged.
After completion of the publication, the number of images/digital files used may be checked on the basis of a sample copy provided by the lessee, after which any credit note will be issued.
After use, the above-mentioned images/digital files must be deleted/destroyed from the lessee’s system.
By using one or more of the above-mentioned images/digital files, the lessee agrees to the terms and conditions stated above.
